Walker LDJ Scientific HF12HB Vacuum Annealing Furnace

Walker LDJ Scientific HF12HB Vacuum Annealing Furnace

$39,000 (USD)

Description

High temperature magnetic vacuum annealing furnace (max tep 650F)

engineered by Dicon Engineering of Santa Barbara, CA for Applied Magnetics.

Walker Scientific Model HF12HB electromagnet, horizontal configuration, fixed 6" air gap, 7.6" intercoil spacing, recommended input power 8.5Kw (maximum 14.5Kw), weight 5800lbs,

HS1575 150kw power supply, annealing chamber shown in photo 2, 208, 3phase,

vacuum pump not included.

*Magnetic field; with existing magnet poles and pole spacing magnetic field is 1 tesla.

By replacing the poles and reducing the spacing the magnetic field could be raised to 1 1/2 tesla.

Vacuum annealing chamber 4" deep, 7" high, 6" wide at center, 4" wide at top and bottom

Original cost of Magnet and Power supply only was $116,000.

NOTE:
