Inficon UL100 Plus leak detector

The INFICON UL100 PLUS is a highly portable, fully automatic helium leak detector designed for field testing applications. Below are some of its key specifications

Leak detection performance 

• Smallest detectable leak rate (vacuum mode):
• Maximum test port pressure: Up to 75 torr with the optional gross-leak test capability. Without this option, tests can be run from 0.150 torr inlet pressure.
• Leak rate indication: A 30-segment LED bar display shows the leak rate over two decades, with a digital display for the range exponent. 

Pumping system 

• High vacuum: Produced by a maintenance-free, hydrocarbon-free, turbomolecular pump.
• Backing pump: A TRIVAC® D1.6B or equivalent backing pump is included in the pump module.
• Gas flow: Flow impedance is at the probe tip for accurate indication of helium entering the probe. 

Construction and operation 

• Portability: The instrument is lightweight and mobile, separating into two compact assemblies—an upper leak detection module and a lower pump module.
• Transport: The unit can be transported in any position by vehicle.User interface: A separate, detachable handheld control and display unit with a 25-foot coiled cord allows for a wide range of action.Controls: It features push-button controls for automatic functions like leak range switching (auto-ranging), zero offset compensation (auto-zero), and valve actuation.Warm-up time: Ready to operate in less than three minutes.Calibration: An optional, built-in calibrated leak (TL 7) allows for simple, repeatable calibration.Accessories: Options include a wheeled cart, a partial flow pump system, and a carrying case.
